Infographics in the desert
Nowhere is a European arts-based festival inspired by Burning Man, held each July in north-eastern Spain. In 2009 I designed and distributed a one page, double sided Census with only 32 questions, estimated to take less than 10 minutes to answer. The goal was to create a quick and intriguing survey that could help plan next year’s event. 54.5% of people at Nowhere took the survey. 180 completed the Census on site. 100 additional people answered the survey online. Surveymonkey.com was a great tool for analyzing the results. Credits: Fabian Meier provided valuable input throughout the process.
